Kelci is an American girl living in a Kiwi world. She has been writing poetry since a young age but only recently has shared her work with others. Her poetry draws on life growing up in middle America. Themes often include motherhood, feminism, religious trauma, and finding humour in the mundane. She is a mum raising two rowdy boys out in the bush of the Kaimai Mamaku Forest. She helps her partner as kaitiaki of a youth lodge where they live. She is in her final year of study, hoping to become a counsellor working with families.
